Another Infant Formula Recalled from the Cypriot Market

The Cypriot Ministry of Health has announced the recall of another infant formula, NAN optipro 1 (800g, batch 51210346AB, expiry date 11/2026), due to the possible presence of cereulide, a toxin produced by the Bacillus cereus microorganism. The product is part of a wider recall of Nestle products, which began on January 8th and includes S-26 GOLD 1 400g, NAN EXPERTpro SENSITIVE PLUS 400g, and NAN EXPERTpro Lactose Free 400g. The Ministry urges consumers not to use these products and to return them to the stores. It also warns of possible distribution of products through parallel trade and calls on buyers to check products purchased online.
