Mountain Analysis for Elections: Fluid Scenario - Everything Open Until the Ballot Box

Political analyst Nasios Oreinos, hosted on Sigma, analyzed the political landscape ahead of the elections, describing it as fluid and multifaceted. He noted the stability of the electorate, with voters expressing high confidence in their choices, making it difficult to shift votes. He distinguishes four groups of parties: two large ones leading the way, a middle group of four, four smaller ones vying for entry into Parliament, and a significant percentage of undecided voters. Particular emphasis was placed on the 20% of undecided voters and those who do not respond, as their final stance may determine the outcome. Oreinos stressed that the undecided are no longer automatically returning to traditional parties, but are turning to alternative options, as was seen in the European elections. He also noted the existence of a "hidden vote," i.e., people who avoid answering, which may be directed towards individuals and options outside the traditional political system. The battle for entry into Parliament is expected to be particularly difficult for smaller parties, with no high percentages guaranteeing their success. The political landscape is characterized by intense fluidity, with open contests for first place, third to sixth place, and the entry of smaller parties. Oreinos estimated that the final ranking could be decided even on election day. Crucially, the emotions of voters emerged as a determining factor, with 80% being dominated by negative feelings such as disappointment and anger, which can lead to abstention or protest votes. Finally, the analyst stressed that the political landscape remains open and dynamic, with possible reversals until election day.
