Larnaca Airport: Work Stoppage over Collective Agreements

Employees of Goldair Handling Cyprus Ltd at Larnaca Airport staged a work stoppage from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, protesting the non-compliance with collective agreements following the departure of some employees. The company decided not to serve all airlines, resulting in some employees being transferred to other ground handling companies. The work stoppage affected two flights. Employees are demanding the payment of allowances that have not been given to them, while the company has already paid the owed wages. Employees are calling for a response from the company and the Mediation Service of the Ministry of Labor to resolve the issue.
