€160 Million in Funding Announced to Support Agri-Food Sector

The European Commission has announced the launch of calls for proposals for 2026, totaling €160 million, to support the agri-food sector. The funds will be allocated to campaigns and events promoting sustainable and high-quality EU agri-food products, both within the Union and globally. Particular emphasis is placed on markets with strong development potential, such as the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, and North America. The initiative is part of the 2026 promotion policy work program, with a total budget of €205 million, and aims to raise consumer awareness of the quality of European agricultural products. The calls will remain open for three months, and an information day will be held in Brussels on January 27 and 28.
